Mission The WorldWatch ArtsEd is a global
children's non-profit educational program targeting elementary, middle and high school
populations. Program content is designed to reinforce and act as an adjunct to core
subjects taught on a day-to-day basis. The purpose of this initiative is to provide
support to public and private school systems in an effort to provide proven methodologies
linked to enhanced student achievement levels in basic curriculum studies and life skills
development. Programming is easily accessed as a viable educational tool available to
students, educators, parents and administrators involved in creating educational
reinforcement opportunities during the regular school week and in after school programs.

Goal Programs advance student achievement based on
implementation of methodologies that generate favorable metrics representative of
improved academic performance in all basic curriculum requirements including improved
math and science scores, SAT ranking and increased college placement.
Program Objectives
Program content has a strong language skills, social conflict resolution and social
awareness component. Leadership and character building is another focus. WorldWatch ArtsEd
offers teaching methodologies effective in helping facilitate learning, improved GPA
and critical thinking skills necessary to maintain, achieve and accelerate success in
required curriculum study. Programming will promote and improve a student's learning curve,
reading, writing, math and science skills scores and offer assistance in preparation
for SAT, PSAT scores and college placement. This is done by creating participatory
instruction which enables and accelerates the learning process and comprehension levels
using methodologies combining the arts and basic curriculum studies incorporating a child's
preferred learning style. Multi-media technologies, along with visual and performance
arts disciplines are used as a means to capture the interest and mindset of students
based on an assessment of visual, auditory, text based and interactive preferred learning
styles. Current technologies such as video presentation, CD's, DVD's, and computer software
are combined to produce music videos, theatrical presentations, and song and dance
performances as learning vehicles for all types of learners. This teaching model appeals
to the audio and visual learner who struggles with the mainstream text-based curriculum.
On the other hand, text-based learners enjoy learning from new perspectives. Many gifted
children have few opportunities to discover and development unique abilities and skill
sets in their formative years in many current day school settings. In many cases, not
recognizing a child's innate orientation early on may mean the opportunity to develop
those talents is lost and never realized.
WorldWatch ArtsEd creates interest and public awareness by holding
city-wide open auditions for the WorldWatch ArtsEd cast of performers. It offers educators
teachers the opportunity to get involved as tutors in after school programs and to gain
public recognition for educators making a difference. WorldWatch ArtsEd will impact
education as we know it today and address the lack of expressive and multi-media driven
arts and cultural programs available to our youth. A student production team will be
formed comprised of students gifted with skills intrinsic to related fields such as
education, mentoring, media, communications, public speaking, marketing, advertising,
public relations, fundraising, event planning, community outreach, writing, directing,
production and the art of business and entrepreneurship. At the junior high and high
school level, internships and scholarships will be an incentive for academic achievement.
It offers teachers the opportunity to get involved as tutors in after school programs;
gain public recognition as educators; impact system-wide achievement levels; gain acclaim
throughout academia for advancement of effective learning methodologies that impact student
life and achievement based on integration and exposure to the arts and humanities; and
lastly, fosters discovery and development of untapped skills related to individual student
proclivity.
